Toothed camshaft drive belt, assembly

CAUTION: Tighten camshaft sprocket bolts after belt tension is adjusted.
Install camshaft holder 3243 before tightening the sprocket bolts.






1. Camshaft sprocket
Removing and installing, refer to Camshaft Drive Belt, Removing and Installing Camshaft Drive Belt, Removing and Installing

2. Locking plate
Side with inscribed lettering faces camshaft

3. 30 Nm (22 ft lb) plus additional 1/2-turn (180°)

4. Toothed belt tensioner 45 Nm (33 ft lb)

5. Toothed belt

6. Toothed belt cover
7. 10 Nm (7 ft lb)
8. 25 Nm (18 ft lb)
