Condition

Front door panel molding that is installed too far forward can touch front fender causing noise when door is opened.

Production

Installation of molding using gauge.

As of production date 08/92 VIN 8C PA 041 000

Service

- Remove affected front door molding.

- Position and install new molding according to illustration.

^ molding -A- must protrude over edge of front door at B-pillar by 2 mm.

- After installation check clearance of front door molding with moldings -B- (front fender) and -C- (rear door).
