Pressures and Temperatures

The pressures and temperatures in the A/C system will vary depending on Engine Speed (RPM), coolant fan speed, engine temperature whether A/C clutch is engaged or not, outside temperature, humidity, etc.

The pressure and temperature specifications given are based on the following:

^ Engine running for approx 20 minutes

^ Engine Speed (RPM) 1500-2000

^ Outside (ambient) temperature 68 F (20 C)

Note
At a temperature of 68° F (20° C), the A/C system pressure is approx. 68 psi (4.7 bar).
