Cooling Fan/Radiator Assembly





1 Coolant pipe

2 Connector
For Engine Coolant Level (ECL) warning switch -F66- in expansion tank

3 Expansion tank
With Engine Coolant Level (ECL) warning switch -F66-

4 Cap

5 10 Nm (7 ft lb)

6 Fan with viscous clutch
"FRONT" marking on outer fan ring must point in direction of travel
Switching temperature 76° ± 4°C (169° ± 39°F) ambient temperature at viscous clutch
Tightening torque depends on tools used
Right-hand thread

7 Fan frame

8 10 Nm (7 ft lb)

9 Coolant Fan Control (FC) thermo- switches -F18- and -F54-
25 Nm (18 ft lb)
Switching temperatures:
1 =1st stage:
on at 92°-97°C (198°-207°F)
off at 84°-91°C (183°-196°F)

2 = 2nd stage:
on at 99°-105°C (210°-221°F)
off at 91°-98°C (196°-208°F)

+ = Battery Positive Voltage (B+)
