Manifold Pressure/Vacuum Sensor: Description and Operation

MAP Sensor 20V:

The Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor is integrated inside the Motronic ECM and therefore does not have a connection pin on the ECM.

The pressure sensor measures the intake manifold pressure. The sensor converts the intake manifold pressure into an electronic signal and uses this signal to control charge pressure.
