Inspect clevis of clutch pedal assembly, Fig.5, for proper adjustment of clutch pedal. Clevis dimension "A, Fig.5, should be 4.29-4.33 inch. If clevis dimension "A is not as specified, then turn clevis as necessary to adjust. When measuring clevis must be at right angle to mounting surface of clutch master cylinder. If clutch pedal does not return by itself and clevis is correctly adjusted, inspect for air in hydraulic system or free movement of clutch pedal in mounting, or a sticking over center spring.
