Flywheel, removing/installing

1 - Starter ring gear
^ heat up to 200~C (390~F) before installing

2 - Cylindrical pin for TDC sender
^ a = 10 mm
^ pin is installed on the starter ring gear side

Note:
The pin for the ignition timing must be installed when installing the flywheel, otherwise the electronic ignition does not receive a signal and the engine will not start.

3 - Needle bearing

4 - Bolts
^ always replace
^ tightening torque for drive plate or flywheel was changed
^ 60 N-m (44 ft.lb.) plus 1/4 turn





Removing
- loosen flywheel bolts, using tool 3197 as brace

Installing
- install in reverse order of removal





Needle bearing, pressing out
- use tools 411 and 431





Needle bearing, pressing in
- press in flush with tools 411 and 433
