Diagnostic Trouble Code Charts

These charts contain:

Diagnostic Trouble Codes output by the VAG 1551 Scan Tool

Blink Codes output with the MIL or a LED test light.

These charts also contain "Possible cause" and "Corrective steps" that may be used to help in diagnosis and repair of the vehicle.

Before replacing any component indicated as faulty always check the wiring and connections for the components and check the grounds using the proper wiring diagram for the vehicle. These checks are very important if the fault is intermittant.
