The front and the rear height of the sunroof panel should be adjusted as shown to prevent wind noise.

The front edge of the sunroof panel should not be higher than the roof at any point.

The rear edge of the sunroof panel should not be lower than the roof at any point.

Front Height Adjustment

Notes:
- The height of the front of the roof panel is altered by turning adjusting nuts -A-.

- Adjusting nuts -A- must never be set to a specific torque or be "securely" tightened.

- Before adjusting, coat adjusting nuts -A- with D 000 600.

Loosely thread adjusting nuts -A- onto threaded studs. DO NOT tighten

Screw nuts -B- onto threaded studs.

Tightening torque: 6 Nm (53 in. lb.)

Turn adjusting nuts -A- (front edge of roof panel will move downward) to adjust to "0 - 1 mm" dimension as specified.

Rear Height Adjustment

Bolts -C- and -D- loosened

Press roof panel upward to adjust to "0 + 1 mm".

First tighten bolts -D-, then tighten bolts -C-.

Tightening torque: 4.5 Nm (41 in. lb.)

Open roof panel approx. 50 mm (2 in.) toward rear, then close again.

Check height adjustment.

Front edge of sunroof panel should not be higher than roof at any point.

Rear edge of sunroof panel should not be lower than roof at any point.

Loosen Phillips-head screws -E- and -F- on left and right.

Close roof panel, open approx. 50 mm (2 in.) toward rear, then close again.

Press roof panel forward onto front guide using light hand pressure.
