ATF OIL CHANGE INTERVAL FOR VEHICLES WITH 4 SPEED AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSIONS

The recommended maintenance interval for replacing the ATF fluid on all 4 speed automatic transmissions (1991-94 vehicles) has been changed from the original 30,000 mile interval to every 45,000 miles or 4 years whichever comes first, except for the V8 models which will remain at 30,000 miles.
The suggested repair time for labor operation (03 30 78 5) for the 30,000 maintenance service has been reduced from 240 T.U. to 215 T.U. because of this change. Also, labor operation (03 30 78 6) has been deleted.
Use the labor operation (37 56 21 0) when performing the 45,000 mile or 4 year service.
