CONDITION

Insufficient freeplay between the brake pads and the brake disc causes low frequency brake noises from the rear brakes when backing up, or in slow turns, without brakes being applied.

PRODUCTION

Modified groove, and piston seal in caliper housing, Installed as of May 1994 Production.

SERVICE

Using the repair procedures in this bulletin.

- Install modified sealing ring repair kit Part No. :535 698 671 (includes 2 piston seals item 3, and 2 protective seals item 5 on illustration).

- Also install new caliper mounting bolts Part No. :321 615 141 (qty 4)
