Condition

Inconsistent manufacturing tolerances on fresh air fan resistor packs, causing high speed fan operation when it is not necessary. The resistor pack has a bi-metallic strip that allows the fresh air fan to cool the resistor pack.

Manual a/c system fresh air fan resistor packs have been upgraded as follows:

New part numbers are:
90 model vehicles: 8A0 959 263 A
100 model vehicles: 4A0 959 127 B
