Squeak / groaning noise heard, when turning steering wheel to the left.

Note

Usually heard only once after vehicle is parked for an extended period.

Chrome plated steering damper rod (arrow) installed as of:

03/94 - (90S, 90CS Models)

04/94 - (S4 Models)

Service

If the above condition is encountered.

- Replace the steering damper with:

P/N : 8A0 425 021A - (90S,9OCS Models)
P/N : 431 425 021B - (S4 Models)
