Protective padding for front side reinforcement, removing/installing

Removing

- Remove door trim panel --> Repair Group 70.





- Remove nut -1- from side reinforcement bar -2-

- Remove protective padding -4- by pulling it down.

Installing

- Position spacers -3- (2x) as shown. Install new washer and nut -1-.

^ Tightening torque: 6 N-m (53 in.lb.)

Protective padding for front door panel, removing/installing

- Remove door panel --> Repair Group 70





- Spread clip -4- (2x) with needle nose pliers -6- and remove.

- Remove protective padding -2- from door panel -1-.

- Clean glue residue from surface using suitable cleaner.

Warning
Follow all Cautions and Warnings on cleaning fluid container label.

- Peel off film backing and stick protective padding on.

- Place clips -4- on pins -3- and press down, using 10 mm socket.
