Dimmer Switch: Service and Repair

- Remove instrument cluster.
- Remove hex nuts -4- with washers.





- Remove instrument panel light dimmer switch -3-.


CAUTION!
- When replacing the instrument panel light dimmer switch, make certain that the flat beveled surface on the adjuster fits exactly into the adjustment pin.
- If necessary, remove the adjustment pin and install on the dimmer switch before installing switch.


- Install in reverse order of removal.

Bulb holders, removing and installing
Instrument cluster bulb identification. Application and ID
- Remove instrument cluster.
- Rotate bulb holders counterclockwise approx. 900 (1/4 turn) and remove.
- Install in reverse order of removal.
