Drive Belt: Adjustments

NOTE: Check that the poly-ribbed belt between the air conditioner compressor and the hydraulic pump is in alignment to prevent damage to the belt.

Poly-ribbed Belt:

- Take off belt by pulling firmly downward by hand (arrow) holding it in the middle and guiding in setting pin 3204 (arrow).

A/C Compressor Pulley With Alignment Gauge:

- Guide alignment gauge 3201 onto ribbed belt pulley for air conditioner compressor.

NOTE: The poly-ribbed belt for the central hydraulic pump must be in alignment with the poly-ribbed belt pulley for the air conditioner compressor.

- If the two toothed belt pulleys are not in alignment:





- Remove bolts securing ribbed belt pulley for central hydraulic pump.
- Using shims (thickness of 0.5, 1.0 and 1.5 mm [0.02, 0.04 and 0.06 inch]) adjust the pulleys until they are in alignment.
