Shift Linkage: Adjustments

Selector lever adjustment, checking

- Cancel fault memory. Refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code Memory- Display/Erase

- Switch off ignition

- Position selector lever at N

- Switch on ignition

- If selector lever position 1 is shown, check for open circuit between contact 50 of transmission control unit and contact 4 of connector on multi-function switch. If not, replace multi-function switch

- Cancel fault memory again

- Switch off ignition

- Position selector lever at P

- Switch on ignition

- If selector lever position R is displayed, check for open circuit between contact 14 of transmission control unit and contact 5 of connector on multi-function switch. If not, replace multi-function switch

- If selector lever position N is displayed, check for open circuit between contact 33 of transmission control unit and contact 7 of connector on multi-function switch. If not, replace multi-function switch

- Cancel fault memory

- Switch off ignition

- Position selector lever at D

- Switch on ignition

- If selector lever position 1 is displayed, check for open circuit between contact 33 of transmission control unit and contact 7 of connector on multi-function switch. If not, replace multi-function switch
