Oil leak from the rear of the engine.

- Check condition of crankshaft rear oil-seal -1- for possible leaking, replace if necessary.

Note
Some upper engine oil leak symptoms appear to be rear crankshaft oil-seal leaks, see Technical Bulletin 94-02, Repair group 15 for additional in formation.

A new oil seal flange may be included with the oil-seal kit. In this case, drain the engine coolant and install the new flange.
