If it becomes necessary to replace the poly-ribbed belt tensioner (arrow -A- Fig. 1), proceed as follows:

- Remove the idler pulley, pulley bracket (arrow -B- Fig. 1) and poly-ribbed belt and discard.

- Install modification kit: 078 998 133

Note:
The kit consists of a modified tensioner and shorter length poly-ribbed belt (the new routing does not require the longer belt which formerly wrapped over the discarded idler pulley).





- Install the modified tensioner (per instructions included in the kit) and route the new belt as shown in Fig. 2
