Coding
- Beginning with October 1994 production, all 1995 m.y. Audi 100 (A6) use a new instrument cluster which includes a Service Reminder Indicator (SRI)- The instrument cluster is coded according to the engine and country variants as well as individual, scheduled service intervals. The instrument cluster must be coded initially at the Secondary PDI (or time of delivery) and whenever a replacement cluster is installed. In addition, SRI displays must be reset after each specified service or inspection is performed.
- The system has no On Board Diagnostic capability.
