Servicing Clutch Hydraulic System

Clutch controls, servicing






1. Brake fluid reservoir
2. Hose
3. Grommet
4. Angle fitting

5. Sealing plug
Moisten with brake fluid before installing

6. Clutch master cylinder
7. Bolt 20 Nm (15 ft lb)
8. Lock nut

9. Clevis
Adjusting, refer to Clutch Pedal Assembly/Service and Repair Service and Repair

10. Pin
11. Locking clip
12. Hydraulic line
13. Grommet

14. Washer
Small inside diameter

15. Bracket
16. Bushing
17. Washer
Large inside diameter

18. Pressure hose
Must not make contact with transmission or surrounding parts
Different versions according to engine application

19. Slave cylinder
Installing, refer to Clutch Release Mechanism, Repairing
Bleed clutch hydraulic system at slave cylinder after installing

CAUTION: Do not depress clutch pedal once slave cylinder has been removed.

20. Bleeder valve
Only open to bleed clutch hydraulic system
Always use brake bleeding procedure to bleed system
Working pressure: max. 2.5 bar (36 psi)

CAUTION!: Before bleeding the clutch hydraulic system with brake bleeding unit, fill brake fluid reservoir with brake fluid up to "max" mark.

21. Dust cap
22. Line fitting 15 Nm (11 ft lb)
