^ The illustrations list all possible malfunctions recognized by the Airbag Control Module J234

^ The DTC lamp stays illuminated until the malfunction is repaired and the memory is erased

^ If a malfunction is intermittent or the DTC memory was not erased after the repair, a malfunction will be displayed as "sporadically occurring" malfunction, "/SP" appears and the malfunction lamp illuminates continuously

^ Even if inoperative components are found, check the wiring to the component for a short or break in the wiring

Note:
"65535 - Control module inoperative" can not be erased using scan tool VAG 1551!
