Fluid Pan: Service and Repair





- Drain ATF at drain plug -1-.
- Detach ATF filler pipe -3- from ATF oil pan (where applicable).
- Unscrew bracket for ATF lines -2-.
- Remove ATF oil pan by unscrewing mounting nuts with spacer bracket (arrows).
- Install in the reverse order of removal.

NOTE:
^ Always use a new oil seal for the drain plug.
^ Install a new O-ring at the ATF filler pipe (where applicable) and lubricate the O-ring with ATF
^ Add ATF to system, refer to, refer to Checking/Filling ATF.

- Tightening torques
Oil pan to transmission: 6 Nm (53 in lb)
Drain plug to ATF oil pan: 40 Nm (30 ft lb)
ATF filler pipe to ATF oil pan (where applicable): 40 Nm (30 ft lb)
ATF filler pipe to transmission (where applicable): 25 Nm (18 ft lb)
ATF line bracket to transmission: 8 Nm (71 ft lb)
