30 Airbag-Sport

Airbag / Sport Steering Wheel:

^ Disconnect voltage supply pin connector (1).

Note:
Always place airbag face up.

^ Nut (4) for steering wheel: 30 ft.lb. (40 N-m)

1 - Torque bolts 44 in.lb. (5 N-m)

2 - Connector, airbag

3 - Airbag

4 - Nut, steering wheel 30 ft.lb. (40 N-m)

5 - Mounting bolts 44 in.lb. (5 N-m)

6 - Torque screws, airbag 53 in.lb. (6 N-m)

7 - Connector for spiral spring

8 - Spiral spring

9 - Bearing pin

10 - Shipping safety screw

^ Loosen bolts (6) from back side. Torque T30 - 53 in.lb. (6 N-m)
^ Remove airbag (3) and disconnect connector

Note:
When installing the airbag unit in the steering wheel, tighten the right Torx bolt first. Only then tighten the left Torx bolt - 53 in.lb. (6 N-m)
