Door Window, Adjusting
Door window, adjusting- Adjust door window so that window glass is pressed against door seal over entire length of area -A-.
CAUTION!
• In area -A-, a proper seal must be made against the top of the window glass.
• Do not alter the setting of the adjustable window stop - 1- to repair leaks.

Note: Do not adjust the window too high otherwise an excessive amount of force will be required to close the door.
Section C-C
• Door window -2- must seal against door seal -1- as shown.
To alter the angle of the door window:
- Install spacers between door shell and window regulator.
Section D-D
• Dimension -a- is the distance between door window -1- and rear side window holding rail -2-
• Distance -a-: 7 mm (+1.0/-0 mm) [9/32 in (+3/64/-0 in)]
• Distance -b-: ± 0.5 mm (± 1/32 in)
• Door window -1- must be adjusted flush with rear side window holding rail -2-
• To obtain distance -a- and -b-it may be necessary to correct the adjustment of rear side window.
• Parallel deviations of ± 0.5 mm (± 1/32 in.) along gap -a- is acceptable so long as it is not visually unacceptable
Note: When properly adjusted, the rear side window must be 1.0 mm (+0/-1.0 mm) [3/64 in (+0/-3/64 in)] higher (arrow) than the door window in the top position. Similarly when the convertible top is open the rear side window must be in line with the door window and must not be tilted toward the inside of the vehicle. It must be in continuous contact with the door window seal without any gaps. If the range of adjustment is not sufficient, enlarge the mounting holes as required.
