Wheel Bearing: Adjustments

ADJUSTING REAR WHEEL BEARING PLAY
- Wheel bearing play is correct when the thrust washer can just be moved with a screwdriver using finger pressure only (not by prying).
- To re-adjust, tighten hex nut while turning wheel by hand to prevent over-stressing wheel bearing.
- Secure with slotted cap and new cotter pin.
