Shift Lever Position Signal

CONNECTION
The Shift Lever Position Signal is connected to pin B 12 of the Engine Control Module, the signal is directional IN only (PIN B 12 - INPUT ONLY).

SIGNAL SOURCE
The shift lever position signal comes from the Transmission Control Module.

SIGNAL USAGE
Idle speed is reduced after selection of a driving range in order to reduce the vehicle's tendency to creep.
