Front Power Windows, Assembly:

NOTES:
- When troubleshooting, always use appropriate wiring diagram.
- Central power window switch is located in the center console.
- All four windows are partially lowered when the convertible top is unlocked and when the convertible top compartment cover is unlocked with the convertible top open.
1 - Window regulator drive gear/cable assembly

2 - Window regulator motor
- Removing and installing (from mechanical part of window regulator).

3 - Window regulator wiring harness

4 - Left-front door

5 - Hex nut, M6
- 10 Nm (7 ft lb)

6 - Bolt and washer assembly
- 15 Nm (lift lb)

7 - Cover plate

8 - Spacer

9 - Door component carrier

10 - Mounting bolt for drive gear and cable assembly

11 - Connector for left4ront window regulator motor
- Wire connector is not directly connected to the operating switch-it is connected to the 2-pin connector on the window regulator wiring harness

12 - Switch console
- Move to side of arm rest after removing

13 - Window switches (-E40-, -E53-, -E55-, -E41-)

14 - Window switch wire connectors
