Power Seat Without Memory, Troubleshooting

NOTE:
- Always refer to appropriate wiring diagram.
- Power seats will operate with ignition off


Test conditions
- Battery OK
- Power seat circuit breaker S44 for driver's seat, located in position -B1- on auxiliary relay panel -1- OK
- Power seat circuit breaker -S80- for passenger seat, located in position -B2- on auxiliary relay panel -1- OK

Tools required
- Digital multimeter (Fluke 83 or equivalent)





- Connector test kit VW 1594






CAUTION!
DO NOT damage, enlarge or bend connector terminals or Cavities by forcing probes into them when performing electrical checks. Use connector test kit VW 594 to make the necessary electrical connections.
