NOTE: WK = Torque Converter Clutch
1) When driving, a 2nd technician is required for reading the specifications, - SEE WARNING
2) Currently the initialization of the transmission control module limits it to the maximum indicated value of 510 rpm.
Test conditions for torque converter slip speed:
- "Wk closed": The gearshift must be completed (wait at least 1 second), the torque converter lockup clutch (WK) must be closed and the accelerator value constant.
- "WK control": The readouts apply to the controlled state of the torque converter lockup clutch. This state may not be reached for 20 seconds after a gearshift is completed in unfavorable circumstances (e.g. accelerating on a hill). Slip values of up to 350 rpm may be achieved during this control phase.
- Excessively high torque converter slip speeds may also be an indication of slipping clutches or non-activated selector elements.
