CAUTION!
Disconnect the battery Ground (GND) strap before working on the electrical system.
NOTE
- After disconnecting the battery, determine the correct coding for the anti-theft radio.
- After reconnecting the battery, check and activate the vehicle's electrical equipment (radio, clock, comfort and convenience features, etc.).
- Illustration shows both standard and optional equipment.

1 - Battery
- Location: battery tray in plenum chamber
2 - Connector station, right
- Location: inside of A-pillar, bottom right
3 - Cruise control, control module -J213-
- Location: under dashboard, above glove compartment
4 - Airbag control module -J234-
- Location: transmission tunnel in center console
5 - Automatic Transmission Control Module (TCM) -J217-
- Location: in plastic box under carpet in front of passenger seat
6 - Data Link Connector (DLC)
Locations:
- Below rear ashtray or
- Behind driver's-side kneebar
7 - Central locking/alarm system/interior light delay control module -V94-
- With IR remote control
- With radio remote control
- Location: trunk, bottom right
8 - Control module for ultra-sound sensors -J347-
- Location: under front seat, center
9 - ABS control module (w/EDL) -J104-
- Location: under rear seat, left
10 - Heated door lock control module -J210/-J211-
- Location: upper part of door
11 - Instrument cluster
12 - Fuse panel
- Location: end of instrument panel
13 - Connector station, left
