Drive Belt: Testing and Inspection

- If ribbed belt drive noise as listed in the table above is noted:
- Reproduce cause for complaint in shop.
- Remove ribbed belt and run engine without belt.
- If the noise is still present, it is not caused by the ribbed belt.





- If the noise is no longer present, determine the cause of the noise according to the table of malfunctions below.
