- "WK closed": The gear shift must be completed (wait at least 1 second), the torque converter lockup clutch (WK) must be closed and the accelerator value constant.
- "WK control": The readouts apply to the controlled state of the torque converter lockup clutch. This state may not be reached for 20 seconds after a gearshift is completed in unfavorable circumstances (e.g. accelerating on a hill). Slip values of up to 350 rpm may be achieved during this control phase.
- Excessively high torque converter slip speeds may also be an indication of slipping clutches or non-activated selector elements.
