CAUTION:
^ Welding and/or straightening operations on load-bearing and wheel-locating components of the rear suspension are NOT permitted.
^ If it is necessary to move a car on which a drive axle has been removed, first install an outer CV joint in place of the missing drive axle-otherwise the wheel bearing will be damaged.

1. Mounting Bracket
- Removing and installing is done with the upper control arms. Service and Repair

2. Self-Locking Nut
- Always replace
- Tighten to: 50 Nm (37 ft.lbs.). plus additional 1/4-turn (90°)

3. Washer
- Qty: 2

4. Self-Locking Nut
- Qty: 2
- Tighten to: 20 Nm (15 ft.lbs.).
- Always replace

5. Hex Bolt
- Qty: 3
- Tighten to: 75 Nm (55 ft.lbs.).

6. Washer
- Qty: 3

7. Hex Bolt
- 10 x 60 mm
- Always replace

8. Upper Track Control Arm, Rear
- Remove mounting bracket (item 1) to remove and install.
- Replacing bushing. Service and Repair

9. Bolt And Washer
- Tighten to: 7 Nm (62 inch lbs.).

10. Bolt

11. Hex Bolt
- 10 x 95 mm

12. Self-Locking Nut
- Tighten to: 45 Nm (33 ft.lbs.).
- Always replace

13. Self-Locking Nut
- Tighten to: 40 Nm(30 ft. lbs.).
- Always replace.

14. Swing Arm
- Removing, installing and servicing.Service and Repair

15. Upper Track Control Arm, Front
- Remove mounting bracket (item 1) to remove and install.
- Replacing bushing. Service and Repair

16. Suspension Strut
- Removing, installing and servicing. Service and Repair

17. Bolt And Washer
- 12 x 1.5 x 120 mm
- Always replace

18. Guide Link With Hydraulic Bushing
- Removing, installing and servicing. Service and Repair

NOTE: If considerable quantities of leak oil are visible on hydraulic bushing, replace the bushing.

19. Hex Socket Collar Bolt
- Always replace
- Mixed installation combining old hex collar bolt and new hex socket collar bolts is permissible
- Tighten as follows:
- 14 mm bolt: 115 Nm (85 ft.lbs.) plus additional 1/4-turn (90°).
- 16 mm bolt: 190 Nm (140 ft. lbs.) plus additional 1/4-turn (90°).

20. Hex Bolt
- Qty: 3
- Tighten to: 10 Nm (7 ft.lbs.).

21. Brake Shield

22. Flange Nut
- Tighten to: 100 Nm (74 ft.lbs.).
- Always replace

23. Hex Bolt
- 12 x 1.5 x 85 mm

24. Washer

25. Self-Locking Nut
- Tighten to: 90 Nm (66 ft. lbs.)
- Always replace

26. Support Link
- Removing, installing and servicing. Service and Repair

27. Ribbed Nut
- Tighten to: 70 Nm (52 ft. lbs.)
- Always replace
- Use only special nut.

28. Bolt And Washer
- 12 x 1.5 x 100 mm
- Always replace

29. Coupling
- Arrow on coupling faces direction of travel

30. Bolt And Washer
- Qty: 4
- 12 x 105 mm
- Always replace
- Tighten to: 110 Nm (81 ft. lbs.) plus additional 1/4-turn (90°).

31. Hex Bolt
- Qty: 4
- Tighten to: 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).
- 8 x 25 mm

32. Support For Subframe

33. Self-locking nut
- Always replace
- Tighten to: 90 Nm (66 ft.lbs.). plus additional 1/4-turn (90°).

34. Ribbed nut
- Tighten to: 100 Nm (74 ft.lbs.).
- Always replace
- Use only special nut.

35. Bolt and washer
- Qty: 4
- Tighten to: 70 Nm (52 ft.lbs.).
- 10 x 70 mm
- Always replace

36. Subframe
- Removing and installing. Service and Repair
- Replacing bushing.Service and Repair

CAUTION: Do not jack up car at the subframe.

37. Screw
- Tighten as follows:
- 6 x 48 mm 40 Nm (30 ft.lbs.).
- 10 x 48 mm: 77 Nm (57 ft.lbs.).

38. Spacer plate

39. Drive Axle With CV Joint
- Removing, installing and servicing, refer to Transmission and Drivetrain.

40. Screw
- Tighten to: 77 Nm (57 ft.lbs.).
- 10 x 20 mm

41. Drive Axle With Tripod Joint
- Removing, installing and servicing, refer to Transmission and Drivetrain.

42. Clamp
- Inserted into support link (item 26).
