Rear






CAUTION:
^ Welding and/or straightening operations on load-bearing and wheel-locating components of the rear suspension are NOT permitted.
^ If it is necessary to move a car on which a drive axle has been removed, first install an outer CV joint in place of the missing drive axle-otherwise the wheel bearing will be damaged.

1. Rear Subframe
- After removing and installing, check axle geometry (alignment). Service and Repair
- Servicing. Service and Repair

2. Self-Locking Nut
- Always replace
- Tighten to: 70 Nm 152 ft. lbs.) plus additional 1/4-turn (90°)
- Car must be standing on its wheels when tightening nut

3. Hex Bolt
- Always replace

- Always replace

5. Lower Control Arm
- Removing servicing and installing. Service and Repair

6. Eccentric Bolt
- Adjusting wheel toe. Service and Repair
- Do not turn more than 90° from center position to left or right (90° is minimum or maximum adjustment)

7. Self-Locking Nut
- Always replace
- Tighten to: 70 Nm (52 ft. lbs.) plus additional 1/4-turn (90°)
- Car must be standing on its wheels when tightening nut

8. Support For Adjusting Camber
- Welded to control arm on both sides
- Make sure that eccentric bolt and washer are correctly located

9. Eccentric Washer

10. Self-Locking Nut
- Always replace
- Tighten to: 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.) plus additional 1/4-turn (90°)
- When tightening, hold upper control arm in horizontal position

11. Suspension Strut
- Removing and installing, Servicing Disassembling and assembling. Service and Repair
12. Wheel Housing

13. Hex Bolt + Washer
- Tighten to: 55 Nm (41 ft. lbs.)

14. Hex Bolt
- Always replace

15. Hex Bolt
- Always replace

16. Upper Control Arm
- Removing and installing. Service and Repair

17. Wheel Bearing Housing

18. Washer
- Always replace

19. Self-Locking Nut
- Always replace
- Tighten to: 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.) plus additional 1/4-turn (90°)

20. Self-Locking Nut
- Tighten to: 95 Nm (70 ft. lbs.)
- Always replace





21. Self-Locking Nut
- Tighten to: 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.)
- Always replace

22. Self-Locking Nut
- Tighten to: 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.)
- Always replace
- The car must be standing on its wheels when tightening nut

23. Wheel Bearing Housing
- Removing, servicing and installing. Service and Repair

24. Coupling Rod

25. Hex Bolt

26. Self-Locking Nut
- Tighten to: 40 Nm (30 ft. lbs.)
- Always replace

27. Stabilizer Bar
- Different versions depending on suspension version
- Before replacing, refer to vehicle data plate as this is the only way to determine correct version Inscription on data plate:
- 1BA = Standard version
- 1BE = Sports version

28. Bushing
- Different versions depending on suspension version
- Before replacing, refer to vehicle data plate as this is the only way to determine correct version Inscription on data plate:
- 1BA = Standard version
- 1BE = Sports version

29. Clamp

30. Hex Bolt
- Tighten to: 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.)

31. Self-Locking Nut
- Tighten to: 90 Nm (66 ft. lbs.)
- Always replace
- Car must be standing on its wheels for tightening nut

32. Eccentric Washer

34. Track Rod

35. Eccentric Bolt For Adjusting Wheel Toe

- Do not turn more than 90° from center position to left or right (90° is minimum or maximum adjustment)
