LEGEND
1. Drive axle with ABS wheel speed sensor rotor
2. Wiring guide
3. Trapezoidal arm

WARNING: To reduce risk of accident, note the following:
^ Loosen or tighten self-locking nut (9) only when the vehicle is standing on its wheels.
^ Loosen or tighten the bolt/washer assembly (10) only when the vehicle is standing on its wheels.


NOTE: During removal and installation procedures, refer to the component location illustration above and component notes below.

COMPONENT NOTES
Drive Axle With ABS Wheel Speed Sensor Rotor (1)
- Outer CV joint will be supplied with rotor as replacement part.
- Before removing, pull wheel speed sensor out slightly.
- After installing, press wheel speed sensor in by hand until seated.

Wiring Guide (2)
- Do not pinch ABS wheel speed sensor wiring harness during installation.

Nut (5)
- Tighten to 10 Nm (7 ft. lbs.).

Bracket For ABS Wheel Speed Sensor Wiring Harness (6)
- Attach to wheel bearing housing with mounting bolt for suspension strut.

ABS Wheel Speed Sensor (7)
- Left and right side sensors are identical.
- Pull out to remove.
- Before installing, coat with brake assembly lube and then push in by hand until seated.
- Both ABS wheel speed sensor harness connectors are located under the rear seat bench.

Clamping Sleeve (8)
- Before installing in wheel bearing housing, coat with brake assembly lube.
- Press into wheel bearing housing until seated.

Self-Locking Nut (9)
- Always replace.
- Tighten to 90 Nm (66 ft. lbs.).

Bolt/Washer Assembly (10)
- Always replace.
- Tighten to 200 Nm (148 ft. lbs.) plus additional 1/4-turn (90�).
