Parking brake lever trim, removing and installing




1 - Hand grip for parking brake lever.
2 - Locking lug: Secures hand grip to parking brake lever.
3 - Retaining tabs: Detaching from parking brake lever.
4 - Hook.
5 - Mount: For hook -4-.




Detaching retaining tabs
- Pull up parking brake lever.
- Pry off retaining tabs and pull out from behind parking brake lever.




Removing hand grip and trim
- Slightly lift trim, press tab up off of locking lug and remove hand grip.
- Pull trim forward to remove.




Installing trim on parking brake lever
- Press trim downward at rear to insert hook into mount.
- Insert retaining tabs into parking brake lever, as shown.
- Install hand grip.
- Make sure locking lug inserts into retaining tab.
