Door Lock, Removing and Installing

1 - Bolts (2x)
- 9.5 Nm (84 ft lb)
2 - Intermediate plate for lock
3 - Door lock
Removing:
- Remove door component carrier.


NOTE: If the cover for the door component carrier was not installed, the door component carrier does not need to be removed to remove the door lock.


- Remove cover for door lock. Operating Rods For Front Door Lock, Removing and Installing
- Unclip operating rods. Operating Rods For Front Door Lock, Removing and Installing
- Detach connection hose from actuator for central locking.
- Remove bolts -1-.
- Remove door lock and intermediate plate for lock -2-.
Installing:
- Install in reverse order of removal.
4 - Bowden cable for interior door mechanism
Removing:
- Remove door component carrier.
- Remove cover for door lock. Operating Rods For Front Door Lock, Removing and Installing
- Unhook bowden cable (bowden cable shown in inset is unhooked), unclip downward and disengage from door lock.
Installing:
- Install in reverse order of removal.
