Headlight Assembly (S4, S6)

Front Lights, Servicing:

CAUTION!
Before working on the electrical system:
- Determine the correct coding for the anti-theft radio.
- Disconnect the battery Ground (GND) strap.


NOTES:
- Following any repair work that may affect headlight aiming, readjust the headlights.
- Removing and installing headlights.
- Removing and installing fog lights.
- Adjusting fog lights.
- Adjusting headlight washer nozzles.



1 - Cover
- Note position when removing with sliding lock
2 - Gasket
- Remove carefully
3 - Headlight bulb retaining clip
- Unclip to remove bulb
4 - Low/high beam headlight bulb
- 12 V, 60/55 W -H4-
5 - Nut
- Replace only if faulty
6 - Mounting bracket
- Do not replace
7 - Turn signal/parking light bulb
- 12 V,21/5 W
8 - Bulb socket
9 - Rubber seal
- Bonded to turn signal/parking light housing
10 - Turn signal/parking light housing
- Removing and installing.
11 - Screw
- M4.8 x 13 mm
12 - Washer
- 5.3 mm x 15 mm x 1.6 mm
13 - Headlight housing (with reflector, lens and level)
- Adjusting.


NOTE: Do not disassemble the headlight lens and the reflector housing. If the lens is damaged, always replace the complete assembly
