Seat Belt Systems: Locations
Pyrotechnic Seat Belt Tensioner, Removing And Installing:
WARNING!
- Do not re-use fasteners that are worn or deformed in normal use.
- Some fasteners are designed to be used only once, and are unreliable and may fall if used a second time. This includes, but is not limited to, nuts, bolts, washers, circlips and cotter pins. Always follow recommendations in this manual-replace these fasteners with new parts where indicated, and any other time it is deemed necessary by inspection.
1 - Back rest
- Removing and installing.
2 - Seat belt wheel with slave sensor
3 - Shaft for slave sensor
4 - Pyrotechnic with seat belt tensioner unit
5 - Bolt (8x)
- 25 Nm (18 ft lb)
6 - Spring rod
7 - Sensor
- Adjusts backrest position (angle) to prevent blockage of inertial reel
8 - Rubber grommet
- Check for correct fit of grommet in retainer at seat belt tensioner assembly
