"Zero" Position Of Sunroof Motor (link Guide), Checking And Adjusting

Checking
The "Zero" position can be checked using a pocket mirror and a flashlight, with the sunroof panel installed.

- Trims removed

- Slide sunroof back and into closed position.
- Push sliding headlinerfully back.
- Place flashlight on sunroof panel and visually check "zero" position from side.







"Zero" position is correctly set if square hole in tilt mechanism of guide plate - 1 - is aligned with recess (arrow) in guide rail - 2 -.

Adjusting
- Sunroof panel removed
- Sunroof motor removed
- Trims removed

- Slide guide plates - 1 - on both sides from rear to front.







- Align square hole in tilt mechanism of guide plate - 1 - with recess (arrow) in guide rail - 2 - for sliding headliner.

This is the "zero" position.
- Install sunroof motor in "zero" position.
