1. Bonded rubber bushings
^ Pressing out refer to Fig. 1
^ Pressing in refer to Fig. 3
2. Upper control arm
^ Replacement part supplied with bonded rubber bushings installed
^ Left and right-side components are identical
3. Bonded rubber bushing
^ Pressing out refer to Fig. 2
^ Pressing in refer to Fig. 4
^ Bushing may be installed with slots in bushing aligned in any direction

If VW416B tube, 37 mm dia. becomes canted while pressing out, relieve pressure and start over.
CAUTION: Be careful not to damage the surface of the upper control arm.

Note: 41-501 tubular section must be exactly in the correct position.

- Position bonded rubber bushing perpendicular to upper control arm.
- Press bushing fully in up to stop.
