Rear wiper, removing and installing







1 - Wiper blade
2 - Protective cap for rear wiper
3 - Retaining nut
4 - Lock washer
5 - Wiper arm
6 - Nozzle
7 - Drive shaft for rear wiper
8 - Rubber blade
- Carefully pry off protective cap -2- using small screwdriver.
- Loosen retaining nut -3-.
- 8 Nm (71 in. lb)
- Remove retaining nut -3- and lock washer -4-.
- Remove wiper arm -5- from drive shaft -6-.
- Installation in reverse order.


NOTE:
- Make sure that the switch for the wiper motor is in the "OFF" position before beginning installation.
- During installation, align rubber blade -8- with the lowest heating element of the rear window defroster.
