Stabilizer Bar: Service and Repair

Stabilizer bar, removing and installing

Removing

^ Remove engine noise insulation.





^ Loosen nut-1-.

^ Take connecting link out of stabilzer bar.





^ Remove hex nut -2-.

Installing

Installation is the reverse of removal, with special attention to the following:

^ Install mounting and stabilizer bar free of grease.

^ Arrow on coupling points in direction of travel.

^ If you replace stabilizer, note chassis version.

Note changes in coupling and tightening specifications.

^ Always use new ribbed nut.
