Power and Ground Distribution: Diagrams

CAUTION: Before working on the electrical system:
- Determine the correct coding for the anti-theft radio.
- Disconnect the battery Ground (GND) strap.

Required special tools and test equipment
- VAG 1598 test box
- VAG 1598/29 adapter

NOTES:
- The connector point is located under the floor covering in the left footwell
- To perform measurements at connectors 2 or 3 of the 78-pin connector use VAG 1598 test box with VAG 1598/29 adapter.

- To perform measurements at connector 7 of the 18-pin connector, use VAG 1598 test box with VAG 1598/29 adapter.
