Heated Steering Wheel, Operation
System operates with:^ Ignition switch ON.
^ Vehicle interior ambient temperature is below approx. 70°F (21°C).
^ Driver's side heated seat switch is in the ON position
At this time the steering wheel begins to heat up.
Note:
How hot the steering wheel gets is dependent on the actual vehicle interior ambient temperature prior to activation of the heated steering wheel.
^ The steering wheel temperature should quickly rise to approx. 90°F (29°C) and then cool down and maintain a temperature of approx. 70°F (21°C).
Note:
The lower temperature is necessary to prevent discomfort and sweating of the driver's hands.
Temperatures are approximate, actual temperatures may be higher or lower than listed above.
The thumb wheel of the heated seat switch does NOT adjust the temperature of the steering wheel.
