General description

Navigation System III replaces Navigation System I (destination navigation).

The system, now with On Board Diagnostic (OBD) capability, is based in large part on the technology of Navigation System II (screen navigation).

All displays appear on the instrument cluster which is connected via the CAN-bus.

All entries are made via buttons on multi-function switch.

The system consists of:
- Multi-function switch (operating unit)
- Instrument cluster (display unit)
- Control module for navigation with CD-mechanism (central unit and navigation unit)
- GPS antenna
