Oil pump drive seal, replacing

- Remove noise insulation panel.
- Removing camshaft drive belt, Refer to Timing Belt, Service and Repair.
- Remove vibration damper.





- Remove oil pump drive.





- Remove oil pump seal using commercially available extractor (e.g. Kukko No. 21/6, 37-46 mm) as follows:
- Insert extractor into oil seal and tighten by hand.
- Carefully remove seal with puller (Kukko 22-2 shown).





- Install oil seal using insertion sleeve 2009.
- Before assembling, make sure oil pump drive bearing runs quietly.If not:
- Replace oil pump drive.
