- Malfunctions indicated by DTCs repaired


NOTE: Readiness code must be generated if DTC memory has been erased. Readiness Code, Generating


Erasing DTC memory
- Connect VAG1551 or VAG1552 Scan Tool (ST) and press buttons -0- and -1- to insert "Engine Electronics" address word 01 (engine idling). [1][2]Scan Tool Connecting and Initial Checks

- Press buttons -0- and -5- to select "Erase DTC Memory" (scan tool function 05), and press -0- button to confirm input.
