Window Regulator, Removing and Installing

Removing
- Remove door trim panel.
- Remove regulator mounting bolts.
- Disconnect combined window motor harness connector.

Separating connector (passenger side only)
- Disconnect 2-pin connector from 3-pin connector by twisting 2-pin connector side-to-side, and pulling them apart (arrow).





NOTE: The connector for the left front window motor is not connected directly to the left front window switch, but to the 2-pin harness connector on the window regulator wiring harness.


- Remove door component carrier together with window regulator.

Installing
- Position window glass half-open.
- Install window regulator free of tension or stress.
- Check for correct adjustment of upper end stop, and adjust if necessary using Torx(R) E-6 socket.
- For passenger side only, connect 2-pin and 3-pin window regulator connectors by twisting 2-pin connector side-to-side and pushing together (arrow).





- Reconnect window motor harness connector.
- Install remaining components in reverse order of removal.
